In the 1960s, Andy Warhol created several “mass-produced” images from photographs of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Jackie Onassis.

Andy Warhol Inspired Pop Art Prints

Students were able to connect an art form popular in the 60's to their everyday life. Students applied the information they learned about the Pop Art Culture to research an image popular to their culture. The focus of the printmaking project was to develop a design from popular culture and repeat the print to create multiples.
